MTEC is a referral-based practice offering advanced therapeutic endosocopy procedures through the skill of Giuseppe Aliperti, MD.   Dr. Aliperti's team is specialized and is dedicated to the treatment of advanced biliary and pancreatic dieseases which were once exclusively in the surgical domain.

Some of the common diseases/conditions and treatments of the biliary and pancreatic systems include:  abnormalities of the pancreatic and bile ducts, acute pancreatitis, treatment of bile and pancreatic duct stones and strictures, pancreatic pseudocysts, chronic pancreatitis, Sphincter of Oddi disorders and post-cholecystectomy syndrome, endoscopic mucosal resections, laser ablation of ampullary and other neoplasms, diagnosis and treatment of strictures related to primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), laser treatment of ateriovenous malformations of the small bowel, and cancer palliation.

With his expertise and years of experience, W. Richard Sylvanovich, MD supports Dr. Aliperti by providing general GI services. 

Christine DeBold, APRN, BC is in collaborative practice with Dr. Aliperti and provides support in the evaluation of the patient through a detailed history, discussion of procedure including risks and benefits.  She also provides maintenance of clinical interventions pre-and post-operatively and serves as a liaison with the patient, family, hospital, nursing staff and referring physicians.

Banke Agarwal, MD, Assistant Professor, Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at St. Louis University School of Medicine is a respected colleague and endoscopist provides his expertise in Endoscopic Ultrasound.
