MTEC is a referral-based practice offering advanced therapeutic endoscopy procedures through the skill of Giuseppe Aliperti, MD.   Dr. Aliperti's team is specialized and is dedicated to the treatment of advanced biliary and pancreatic diseases which were once exclusively in the surgical domain.

Some of the common diseases/conditions and treatments of the biliary and pancreatic systems include:  abnormalities of the pancreatic and bile ducts, acute pancreatitis, treatment of bile and pancreatic duct stones and strictures, pancreatic pseudocysts, chronic pancreatitis, Sphincter of Oddi disorders and post-cholecystectomy syndrome, endoscopic mucosal resections, laser ablation of ampullary and other neoplasms, diagnosis and treatment of strictures related to primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), laser treatment of ateriovenous malformations of the small bowel, and cancer palliation.

With his expertise and years of experience, W. Richard Sylvanovich, MD supports Dr. Aliperti by providing general GI services. 

Krishnavel C. Chathadi, MD is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology and served on the faculty of the University of Colorado School of Medicine.  He practices therapeutic endoscopy including advanced ERCP and EUS.  He works primarily at the Pancreatico-Biliary Center at Missouri Baptist Medical Center.  Dr. Chathadi works closely and shares coverage and office space with Drs. Giuseppe Aliperti and W. Richard Sylvanovich.  Dr. Chathadi's practice is part of BJC Medical Group of Illinois.
