Dr. Aliperti has dedicated most of his career to the minimally invasive management of diseases of the bile duct, pancreas and tubular GI tract, once exclusively in the surgical domain. He has spent 10 years on the faculty at the Washington University School of Medicine where he served as Director Interventional and Pancreatiobiliary Endoscopy. Dr. Aliperti is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. In addition to having presented his research at national conferences, he has given more than 700 invited lectures locally and worldwide. He has founded the Midwest Therapeutic Endoscopy Consultants in St. Louis, a private group practice with focus on Interventional Endoscopy.
